Header Bidding is a programmatic technique that allows publishers to expose their inventory to multiple demand sources at once. This process sidesteps the exchange waterfall and increases inventory yield by selling per-impression, illuminating inventory value. There are two main Header Bidding methods: Browser-Based, which asks users’ browsers to make calls, and Server-Side, which generates all calls from a central sever, taking the load off users’ machines.
