RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
Our Need
Industry Index is seeking a Research Associate to join our Research Products team. The position is partly strategic, partly scientific, and both internal- and client-facing. Our Research Associate will be tasked primarily with list management, list readiness, and survey activations, reporting to our Director of Research. Enabling effective, repeatable survey engagements that provide actionable data is the core mission for this role.

About You
You are naturally intellectually hungry. You dig into marketing automation and engagement with meticulous abandon. You have a minimum of two years of hands-on experience with list management and automated marketing. You have a B.S. in data science, marketing, or similar discipline.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND INTEGRATIONS
• Survey list curation, including segmentations and de-duplications, continual refreshing
• Project management for each research initiative, from concept to final delivery to client
• Documenting strategy and process with the Director of Research
• Survey programming via Qualtrics platform
• Integration and execution of surveys via Qualtrics and email platform(s)
• Survey response rate optimizations
• Continual monitoring and analysis of list and response data, including response rates and recommendations for meeting and improving response rates and quality

BENCHMARKS FOR SUCCESS INCLUDE:
• Survey completions within minimum-defined tolerances
• Effective list segmentations and list readiness for multiple simultaneous engagements
• Insight and forward-thinking list management and analyses, recommendations for continual engaged survey responses

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• Self motivation and assertive communication
• Meticulous attention to documentation and details
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, cross-tabulation)
• Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Heap (or similar engagement analytics platforms)

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT
Our Need
Industry Index is seeking a Business Development Consultant with a strong interest in the adTech and/or MarTech industries. You will work with our NYC office to build upon our early market success, cultivating new relationships to drive rapid, high-scale growth. The role is high-energy and competitive, and requires a blend of tech aptitude, natural sales instincts, and excitement for the MadTech industry. This position reports directly to our SVP, Revenue.

REQUIREMENTS
• 3-5 years minimum successful Business Development and Sales experience in online advertising,
• adTech, marTech, and/or SaaS platforms sales experience preferred
• High energy, self motivated and passionate about working in a fast paced startup environment
• Deep relationships selling to programmatic tech brands (e.g., DMPs, DSPs, Agencies)
• Intelligence with a passion for–and ability to–quickly understand about new technologies
• Sharp strategic acumen; resourceful, self-motivated and driven
• Ability to provide actionable insights to business development and product teams
• Experience with SharpSpring (or similar) CRM platform

FRONT END DEVELOPER
Our Need
Industry Index is seeking a Front End Developer that is motivated to combine amazing UX and design with the art of programming. You will work with our NYC office to build upon a strong baseline product to drive rapid, high-scale iterations. The ideal candidate will have a strong appreciation for visual design and user experience, as well as an intimate understanding and appreciation for pixel perfect code. This role reports directly to the SVP, Technology.

About You
Primary responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work closely with other engineers and teams, and you will be responsible for collaborating with them to identify integration points and dependencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND INTEGRATIONS:
Front End Developers works directly within the Products team, including:
• Developing new user-facing features
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use
• Optimizing applications for maximum speed, scalability and responsiveness (RWD)
• Assuring that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
• Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to translate Sketch and Photoshop comps and wireframes into semantically correct web templates.
• Proficiency with web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Proficiency with Bootstrap
• Proficient knowledge of developing responsive experiences for a variety of browsers, operating systems, and screen sizes.
• Proficiency with client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Proficiency with Laravel/Blade Template Engine is a plus
• Self motivation and assertive communication
